We had a fantastic stay at the Cosy Cabin. Peter and Kathleen have clearly put a lot of thought into making it somewhere really special. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the TV on the ceiling is a brilliant idea — it took no time at all to get used to!
Starting the day with the sauna followed by an outdoor seaweed bath was a real highlight. The fresh brown bread and milk were a lovely touch, the views are stunning, and Peter and Kathleen gave us great advice on things to see and do locally.
Our dogs had a great time too, which is always important to us. A really comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay in a beautiful part of Donegal. We’d happily return in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely 2 nights in the cabin, so peaceful and the views of the surrounding area were fab! The homemade bread was such a treat 😊

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying in this cabin. Check in was so easy and even though the location was remote, it was straightforward to find. The views from the cabin were phenomenal. It was so incredibly cosy and the sauna helped relax us before going to sleep, particularly after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

A charming little wooden chalet with a magnificent view, very cosy. The place is very clean. We felt really good there. The nature all around is beautiful. Perfect for discovering Donegal, which is full of splendid sights. But the real highlight is the locals... treat yourself to a night of music at the Elliot pub a few minutes away, and you won't regret it. This is the real Ireland, not the one for tourists. We highly recommend this step.

A beautiful, very cosy Airbnb in an absolutely quiet location with a fantastic view. The many loving details make the atmosphere perfect. We were able to relax wonderfully here, felt completely comfortable and would have preferred not to leave at all. Highly recommended!

The small, very romantic log cabin became our home for 11 days. The area is fantastic, and you can easily reach beautiful beaches and go on trips by car.

We loved our stay at Kathleen and Peter’s cabin. Everything was perfect, from the breathtaking views to the peaceful and private setting. The location is excellent as well, just a short walk from a gorgeous beach with some stunning scenery around. They also left cupcakes, fresh milk and a lovely basket with goodies to make our stay extra special. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was the perfect getaway, and we are already looking forward to coming back soon!!

Lovely place, very well located to visit Donegal County. The roads around are so beautiful, wonderful landscapes.
Very well equipped as well, with lots of natural light and views.
We will definitely recommend it for any couple going to Donegal.

Thanks to Peter and Kathleen for a wonderful stay. Great location for a reset. Dooey beach is unbelievable and lovely forests nearby. The sauna is of great condition. McCafferty’s restaurant is only a 5 min drive away. Had everything I was looking for.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. A beautiful remote area in Donegal with the most fabulous views and an amazing cabin and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Peter and Kathleen were fantastic hosts and provided great responses and suggestions to all enquiries. So worth the drive and will be going back often. One of my now favourite destinations. Treat yourself and you wont be disappointed.

This 'cosy cabin' is exactly as advertised ... & possibly more! The views are spectacular! We were very lucky with the weather so spent most of our time outdoors. Fab beaches nearby ... Dooey Beach & Portnoo Beach ... both stunning with miles of sand, dunes & rippling waves, which our dog really enjoyed. Shops & restaurant close by & Dungloe just up the road also. The cabin was cosy, impeccably clean & we loved our stay there. Kathleen met us on arrival & herself & Peter were very friendly & responsive. There was fresh home-made bread, butter, milk, tea, bikkies & cold beers & minerals ready for us, which was very welcoming after a long drive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely cabin & indeed hope to return again. Thank you Kathleen & Peter for your friendly hospitality & the chance to stay in your 'cosy cabin by the sea'. We have some lovely memories to treasure!

Booked the stay for my parents for a getaway and they loved it. They can't wait to come back again.
